i had been dyin' to see Athens, Georgia's Dead Confederate since their self-titled EP got countless spins on my mp3 player last year. So i ventured down into a dark, dank, smoky Cavern so they could rock me in person. Below is the performance of "The Rat" that they blasted me and their loyal DFW area fans with that night.

Drive-By Truckers September 25, 2008 House of Blues Dallas, TX

Heeeey-alll yeaaaah! Got free tix to the Drive-By Truckers gig at the local House of Blues. They rocked Dallas for two and a half hours on a Thursday night before they headed down to Austin for their ACL fest performance.
